Custom is the colour-set range: ribbons in colours matched to a school, a club, a team or a person, with a name printed on them. Some are ready-made colour sets you can order straight away. If none of them is right, the Custom Ribbon listing lets you pick your own colours and see the ribbon change as you choose. Everything here is made for you after you order, by hand, in Molendinar on the Gold Coast.
Customised, then personalised
Customised is the colour set. Personalised is the name printed on it. A personalised ribbon is always customised too, so every listing here does both: choose the colours, then type a first name, a nickname or a team name, up to 13 characters, exactly as you want it read. Up to four colours go on a ribbon.
What you get
The named colour sets are built in four layers on each side, 18cm long, with one 25mm ribbon and three 12mm ribbons per side, on an elastic loop. Both 25mm sides can be printed. Personalised ribbons in this range are $15, or $12 each when you order ten or more.
Ordering for a team
Choose one colour set, then add a ribbon for every player with their own name on it, all in the one order. It is how the Fiji, Samoa and Tonga squads got theirs. Send through the name list and your colours for a big batch and we will quote it back, and ask if you would rather have the whole order delivered together than posted one by one.
When to order
Allow three to five weeks for a custom colour set. This range is not made up in advance; every ribbon is cut, layered and pressed after you order, and a new colour combination is matched and made from scratch. The ready-made colour sets in the Blank range are quicker, one to two weeks. Work back from the game, carnival or presentation it is for and order early.
